Wholesale Terms of Sale
These terms govern bulk and wholesale purchases of renewed electronics from Pine LLC, trading as Pine Tech Group. They exist because business buyers inspect, redistribute and resell equipment, which calls for a different arrangement than a consumer purchase. Our consumer 90-Day Limited Warranty does not apply to orders under these terms.
What counts as a wholesale order
Any order of renewed equipment quoted and invoiced by us as a wholesale, bulk or reseller transaction, regardless of quantity. Your quote or invoice will say so. If terms stated on a quote or invoice differ from this page, the quote or invoice controls. Brand new equipment is not covered by these terms; it carries the manufacturer's warranty stated at the time of sale.
Your 14-day inspection window
You have 14 days from the date of delivery to inspect the goods and report any claim. We honour claims made within this window on any unit that:
- is dead on arrival or has a functional fault present at delivery,
- is materially different from the grade or description on your invoice, or
- is not the item you ordered.
Claims must be sent to sales@pinellc.net within the window and must include the unit's serial number. We record the serial number of every unit we ship against your order, and a claim is validated against that record. Units are accepted, and no further claims may be made, once the window closes or once a unit is resold, deployed into service, altered, or damaged after delivery, whichever comes first.
Remedy
For a valid claim we will, at our election, repair the unit, replace it with a unit of the same model in the same grade or better, or issue a credit or refund for that unit. This is the exclusive remedy for wholesale orders. You arrange and pay return shipping on a claim; if our inspection verifies the claim, we reimburse reasonable return freight together with the remedy. Units returned that test functional and as described are returned to you at your cost, or credited less a handling charge at our discretion.
Shipping damage
Visible transit damage must be noted with the carrier at delivery where possible, and reported to us within 48 hours of delivery with photographs of the packaging and the affected units. This preserves the freight claim; we handle the carrier from there.
What is not covered
- Cosmetic condition consistent with the invoiced grade, as described in our Grading Guidelines
- Damage occurring after delivery, however caused
- Faults arising in your customers' hands after you resell a unit. We do not provide warranty coverage to your end customers, and any warranty you offer them is yours alone
- Battery capacity, unless a specific figure was stated on your invoice
- Units whose serial numbers do not match our shipment record, or have been removed or defaced
- Software, configuration, or data of any kind
Disclaimer
EXCEPT FOR THE EXPRESS COMMITMENTS ON THIS PAGE, WHOLESALE GOODS ARE SOLD AS IS AND WITH ALL FAULTS ONCE THE INSPECTION WINDOW CLOSES. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOST PROFITS OR THE COST OF SUBSTITUTE GOODS. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY ORDER WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT PAID FOR THE GOODS GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM.
Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. The version in effect on the date of your invoice governs that order. Effective 8 August 2026.
Questions before you order: sales@pinellc.net. We would rather explain a term up front than argue about it later.
